Robertson County - Blue Licks

  • Antiquing - From the park up through Carlisle, Millersburg, and then to Paris and all along HW 68, there are many antique shops for visitors to check out and explore.
     
  • History - A trip to Old Washington, Historic Maysville, and on in to Ripley OH to trace the roots of our ancestors from Revolutionary war times up through the industrial Revolution. All you have to do is follow HW 68.
     
  • Covered Bridges - Located in the vicinity of the park are 8, of the states 16 total covered bridges. Maps are available.
     
  • Canoeing - By placing a canoe, or Kayak at Clay Wildlife Management area just a few miles down the road from Blue Licks, one can enjoy a full day of canoeing, fishing, or Kayaking on the Licking River and finish up back at the park ground.
     
  • Hunting - Blue Licks makes the perfect head quarters for that special hunting trip. Hunting is permitted at the Clay Wildlife Management Area just a few miles down the road from the park. All legal permits are required.
