Nightmare at Shadowbox!
This two-hour performance ia a collection of sinister sketch comedy and haunting music dedicated to scaring you silly! Included are trio of classic ghouls looking for love in all the wrong places in Monster Dating Game, a rude awakening in Welcome to Hell, and a daring break for freedom in Escape from Happy-Tots. Shadowbox’s house band, BillWho?, will rock its way through the comedy offerings with show stopping covers of music from Ozzy Osbourne, Blue Oyster Cult, Pearl Jam, 30 Seconds from Mars, and many others.

The United States Army's: Spirit of America
Spirit of America is coming to the greater Cincinnati area for the first time ever to pay tribute to the sacrifices and triumphs of the American Soldier. Cincinnati will have the opportunity to celebrate the spirit, strength and history of our nation with the more than 300 Soldiers in the show. This FREE, live-action, patriotic show, is like no other as it tells the history of America through the eyes of the American Soldier. While the show is FREE, tickets are needed and can be secured early by contacting The Bank of Kentucky Center. Watch as Soldiers bring history to life with this year’s Spirit of America performance. Told by today’s Soldiers, Spirit of America captures the true stories of those who have answered the call to duty for our nation. During the show, Soldiers in historical uniforms re-enact key moments in the U.S. Army and American history. The re-enactments include battle scenes with short periods of simulated gunfire, and performances by the Army's elite ceremonial units.
The show features the U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own," and Soldiers from the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), the oldest active-duty infantry unit in the Army. Ride the Ducks' Tours
Laugh and learn (and "quack") by land and sea during 40-minute tours aboard amphibious vehicles crafted from models used during World War II, that take visitors on a narrated sightseeing ride to some of the area's most impressive landmarks and telling the history of the region. Every guest is given a “Wacky Quacker” noisemaker and encouraged to use it vigorously when passing boats on the river or large groups of people on the city streets. The Duck captain will entertain through stories and jokes or by playing just the right song for the moment. Hang on to your seat when the Duck drives right into the river for the giant “splashdown.” It’s a one-of-a-kind tour and designed to be fun for the whole family. Winter conditions prevent the Ducks from operating year-round. However, the attraction will stay open as long as weather conditions are favorable and safe. A Flying Trapeze School at Newport on the Levee
Ever wondered what it feels like to fly? Experience the thrill of flying at Newport on the Levee! Their newest attraction, a flying trapeze school, will open on June 1st. Operated by Dave Willacker of the Cincinnati Circus Company, the 32-foot tall rig will be located outside on Plaza Level next to BRIO Tuscan Grille. This is the first flying trapeze school in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area.
Classes will be offered for ages 13 and up, Thursday – Sunday through mid-October, weather-permitting. The 2-hour long classes will range from $35 - $55. Children ages six to 12 can swing for only $7 Wednesday through Sunday from 9am until 4pm. Private events and packages including corporate team building, date packages, parties and frequent flyer cards are also available. Reservations are required for the classes.
