Northern Kentucky Symphony

2009 schedule:

“GUYS AND DOLLS”  
The perfect musical comedy set in New York City in the 1940’s with a cast of vivid characters. Sarah Brown, the uptight “mission doll”, tries to reform the high rolling gambler, Skye Masterson.  Miss Adelaide, a nightclub performer, is sick and tired of being engaged to Nathan Detroit, her devoted fiancé and an avid gambler, for fourteen years.  The music is playful and entertaining and the comedy is hilarious.
June 13, through July 11, 2009; Opening Night – June 13, 2009. Matinee performances at 2pm on June 14, 17, 18, 19, 21, 24, 25, 28, and July 1, 2, 8, & 9, 2009. Evening performances at 7.30pm. on June 13, 20, 26, 27, and July 10, & 11, 2009. Luncheon Theatre Packages and Group Discounts are available. Cost $5 children (5-13), $10 students (14-21), $12 senior citizens (55+), $15 adults – call for group pricing). 21-year-old semi-professional theatre.

“CINDERELLA JUNIOR” - SUMMER YOUNG PEOPLE’S PRODUCTION 
The beloved fairy tale retold.  A poor young girl mistreated by her nasty stepmother and stepsisters finds her way to the Royal Ball and to her Prince Charming thanks to her zany Fairy Godmother and her Godmother’s comical helpers. Matinee performances at 2pm on July 25, 31, and August 2, 2009. Evening performances at 7:30pm. on July 26, 29, and August 1, 2009. The Owen County Quilt Trail
Drive the 140 mile quilt trail running through Owen County and enjoy seeing the many different quilt squares displayed on tobacco and livestock barns. No quilt squares are repeated along the trail.
