As one of the oldest wineries in Northern Kentucky, River Valley Winery planted their vineyard on their farm located in Carrollton, KY in 1999 and obtained their winery license in 2001. The Georgiev’s not only produce their own grapes, they also buy from other Kentucky farmers. They proudly make their International Award winning wines with 100% Kentucky grown grapes on their small farm here in Carrollton, KY.
River Valley Winery holds 11 International Wine Competition Awards from the largest International Wine Competition in the U.S., along with 7 Regional Wine Competition Awards.
