River Valley Winery
Visit Vicky and Krasi Georgiev at their River Valley Winery “Mehana” (tasting room) located at 126 Sixth Street (the lower corner of Sixth & Highland Streets) in Carrollton, KY. Their Mehana hosts a European feel with Kentucky hospitality!
Bulgarian native Krasi, whose family has been in wine-making for generations, met and married Vicky Wainscott. As one of the pioneers of the wine industry in Northern Kentucky, the couple planted their vineyard on their farm located in Carrollton, Ky. in 1999 and obtained their winery license in 2001. The Georgiev’s not only produce their own grapes, they also buy from other Kentucky farmers. They proudly make their wines with 100% Kentucky grown grapes right there in Carrollton, KY.
Winner of two Bronze Metal awards in Tri-state competition, six Bronze Medal awards and two Silver Metal awards in the largest international Wine Competition in the U.S. The combination of their pasts and futures has resulted in a perfect blend! Take pleasure in the wine, food, entertainment & hospitality in our downtown Carrollton location.
